Rule #01 - This Network was founded as a place for friends to get online and chat with each other and meet new people. Everyone is welcome, regardless of Race, Creed, Sexual Orientation, Gender, nationality, or anything else I can think of. If you are polite, and respectful of others, then you will be welcomed whole heartedly here.

Rule #02 - This network is run by GeekGirl (Piper), GeekPrincess (Robyn), GeekChild (Cat), Karen, Samantha, Jenny, Rachel, Saphira, Fiona and Melanie_T.

Rule #03 - Any disputes that have to do with abuse of the server/services, will be handled by GeekGirl or GeekPrincess. They are the final authority on such matters.

Rule #04 - These rules (and any others to be implemented later) are subject to change without notice. It is YOUR responsibility to check for updates.

1. As in accordance with US Federal regulations all individuals must be of age 13 or higher to use this chat network.
2. You must be 18 years or older to participate in any adult oriented chat.

1. Pasting more than 10 lines of text at a time, or more in some way, inputing more than 10 lines of text in 5 seconds, shall hereby be considered Flooding and shall be punishable by Kicking and or Banning from a network controlled channel. For text longer than 10 lines, we suggest using a pastebin such the one provided by us ( http://cyberbrats.pastebin.com ).

1. Currently, we ask that you use atleast 2 character nicknames, with ALPHANUMERIC values present (A-Z, 0-9). While we realize that emotes/emoticons/smileys are cute, they DO NOT make for appropriate nicknames. Also, single character nicknames, help promote confusion and leave alot to be desired.
2. The admins @ CyberBrats ChatNET also request that you NOT use "l33t" talk, or Profanity in your nickname. While we admit, we can't be everywhere at once, we will notice, and take appropriate action as we deem fit.
3. Use of Nickserv to register a nickname is recommended by not mandatory. Type: '/ns help register'; '/msg nickserv help register'; or you visit our Online Tutorial (Click Here) for more information.

1. Network rooms, shall herby be defined as, anything that is listed on the CyberBrats ChatNET or
2. TGFiction.Net Java Chat Page, and includes, but is not limited to #TG_Fiction_Authors, #Tech_Talk, #Sapphires & #Venus_Envy.
3. All network rooms, are presided over by GeekGirl, GeekBabe, and GeekPrincess, with the help of a select group of channel and server ops.
4. Exceptions: #TG_Role_Play is currently presided over by Kimmie, and her select group of ops, and shall be,left to them to administer, unless assistance is requested by them.(Due to lack of use, #TG_Fiction_Authors and #TG_Fiction have reverted to normal network control.)
5. Exceptions: #TGTF_Lounge, and TGTF_RolePlaying is currently presided over by Goldendawn, and her select group of ops, and shall be, left to them to administer, unless assistance is requested by them.

1. Role play, shall be primarily limited to the #TG_Role_Play, #TGTF_RolePlaying, #TGTF_Lounge, other member's private rooms, other rooms that the ops specifically allow, and in private chats.
2. While we do not encourage, or condone role play, in the main #TG_Fiction_Authors room (listed as 'Crystals' on the java applet), we understand that there can and will be some spillover, and just ask all to be fair in what they do.
3. Family RP, is specifically ALLOWED in all network run channels, and so is limited ageplay... but for the sanity/safety of others, we ask that MOST role play, especially anything "HARD CORE" be done in the RP room, or in PRIVATE CHAT.

1. Server ops, shall only be brought into conflicts involving Network operated rooms, and network issues. If you have your own room, and are having a dispute, it is NOT our place, and we WILL NOT get involved.
2. If you consistantly pester us, with requests to resolve such issues, our general response will be to diss-register, and ban said room from ever being registerd again.

1. One BOT one channel!
2. Bot names must start with 'btbot-' or 'btbot_'.
3. Bots must be on a channel of the same name, 'btbot_obewon' must use channel '#btbot_obewon'.
4. Anything else will get the BT Bot kicked, band or even K-Lined.

Rule #12 - Other Bots (non BT Bots)

1. Must use 'bot' any case combo, either at the beginning or end of their nick. Bots found not obeying this rule will be kicked, followed by banning and a K-Line if needed.
2. Bots can and will be kicked/banned/k-lined if/when they become annoying or cause people problems.
